When that school bell rang, I swear, I could have heard the whole school scream, and feel the halls begin to rumble with students dying to get out.  Some class rooms didn't have AC, so it was disgustingly hot, humid, and sticky.  Luckily for my class, we had AC.  Ran, Miki, Suu, and Dia all decided to stay in the room because of that.
Half of the kids in my class were already out of the classroom, yelling with joy that they were rid of this "hell hole," as one student phrased it.  In my honest opinion, I think I'll miss my teacher, Nikaidou.  I'll see him around next year, though, right?
They all hovered over to me as I was standing up and pushing my chair in.  "Let's go, Amu!"  Ran called out cheerfully.  "It's time to leap towards summer and go swimming!"
"And get a tan!" Miki added.
"Don't forget about the ice cream, desu!"  Suu threw in.
"As well as your friends," Dia said.
I gave them a smile, "I can't wait!"
I was about to make my way over to Nikaidou to thank him for being such a great teacher, until Rima and Kusukusu approached me.  Rima spoke, telling me, "Amu, Nagi texted me.  He said that the Guardians are going to hang out in one of the pools here."
"Tsukasa would let us?"  I asked.  Stupid question, I know.
"Yes, just for a bit.  I just have to call my parents…"  Rima said.  "I'll meet you there."  She walked out of the room, with her cell phone planted on her ear.  I truly hoped that she could make it.
Nikaidou hastily got his things together, and I said, "Nikaidou, than you so much for being my teacher this year!"
Seeming to be startled by my voice, he dropped the book he was holding.  Instead of picking it up, he just left it there, and looked directly into my eyes.  "It's my pleasure!" he smiled.  "I hope you have a great summer."
"Thanks!"  I replied.
Suu floated over to him with a sheepish smile, saying, "I'll miss you, desu!"
Nikaidou's eyes sparkled slightly when Suu said it, and he reflected that sheepish smile right back.  "You'll have to bake us both some sweets sometime," he said, referring to him and his newly-wed wife.
I began walking to the door, leaning against it to wait for Suu.  "Of course I will," she said.  "Bye-bye!"

I quickly got home and changed into my pink bikini.  The top was outlined with black lace, and the base color was a deep pink with light pink polka-dots.  It was a halter-neck, so it was tied behind my neck.  The bottom had lace along the top, with bows tied on each side, preventing it from falling.
I put on a big shirt and put on flip-flops, explaining where I was going to my parents.  I picked up my cell phone, as well as my bag packed with a change of clothes and a towel, and walked back to the school.

The sun shined with intensity, my skin feeling extremely warm, and definitely sun-kissed.  At an extremely slow rate, I could feel it "bake."  I already applied sunscreen earlier in the day, and yes, it was water-proof since I was going to go to a pool after school, just not this one.  Oh well; I'd rather be with my friends.
I walked down the pathway filled with gorgeous flowers that Yaya planted during the spring.  The vibrant colors made my eyes twinkle, admiring such a beautiful view.
The pool was installed last year during the summer, but we never actually got a chance to go in.  It was in-ground, on a slant so the farther you progress, the deeper it gets, going up to at least six feet.  That's what Tsukasa said.  It was limited to Guardians only.
I went through the entrance, hearing splashing and laughs already.  When I got there, the pool was absolutely stunning.  The water was such a crisp color, clearly white with a hint of blue, the edges with a white border and labels reading how deep the water was, a deep blue design on the inside of the pool, and floats everywhere.
"Woahh, this is amazing!" Ran said in awe.
"You guys!"  Rhythm and Daichi called out.  "Come over here!"  I looked over, spotting a smaller pool for the charas, which made me smile.  The four charas' eyes were automatically lit up, smiles written upon all of their faces, as they made their way to the small pool, screaming and laughing.
"Hinamori's here!"  Kukai announced, his arms over a green pool noodle.  Tadase, Nagihiko, and Yaya looked at me with a smile.  Kairi was pulled out of school early since he was going on vacation to Italy.
"Amu!"  Yaya chirped, waving at me.  "Get in here!"
"Right, right!"  I placed my bag on the table next to everyone else's.  I was about to put my cell phone inside, until I felt a continuous vibration, and heard it hum a tune.  I flipped it open.
"Hello?"  I answered.
"Hey, Amu…" A quiet, soft-spoken voice replied.  "It's Rima."
"Oh, hey Rima!  Can you come?"  I asked hopefully.
"Yeah, but… I can't swim."  There was a small pause on the phone.
"Don't worry, you can just stay on the shallow side of the pool and you can be in one of the blow-up tubes, if you want."
"Y-Yeah, but it's embarrassing."
"Rima, you can trust us," I reassured.
"I guess.  Fine."  She hung up, and I tucked my phone into my bag.  I then took off my shirt, also putting that into my bag.
I felt something on my neck, so I froze.  "Cute bikini, Amu," a deep voice said.  I jumped up and turned around, only to see Ikuto staring at me.
"I-Ikuto!  How did you get here?"  I yelled.  Laughs from the pool stopped, and all eyes were on him.
"Yo!"  Yoru said, going over to the chara pool.
"I have my wa-"  he started, only to get cut off.
"Tsukiyomi Ikuto, what are you doing here?"  Tadase said defensively, pointing an accusing index finger at him.  His eyes were fiery with anger.  I wouldn't blame him, isn't this a Guardian-only swimming pool?  Then again, I believe he's been in here before.
"My nap was disrupted by kids screaming and yelling.  So, I decided to see what the ruckus was all about," he calmly answered, but had an annoyed vibe.  He started to take off his shirt.
"W-What do you think you're doing?"  I said loudly, a small feeling of warmth rising up to my cheeks.
"Joining you," he replied.
"Tsukiyomi Ikuto, you can't join, this pool is just for the Guardians," Tadase shot at him.
"Still using my last then first name to address me, hm?"  He ignored the rest of the sentence, except for that one small fact.  It was true, even after all that we've been through, Tadase still had a small grudge against him.  Perhaps it's because of that "war" that they're having over who gets me.
Tadase was silent.  I felt two hands on my waist.  They were Ikuto's.  "Huh?"  I yelled.  He hoisted me up, walking me over to the pool.  I squirmed around in his grip, trying to break free.
"Hold your breath," he said, throwing me into the water.  My body landed in with a thud, but surprisingly, it didn't hurt that much.  I sank to the bottom, my eyes shut tightly, and my nose breathing out water quickly, then swam to the surface.
"Ikuto, yo-"
"Yo," he cut me off.  Everyone laughed, even Tadase let out a giggle.  He, surprisingly, had trunks on and jumped into the pool, purposely next to me so he could just splash me.  I let out a groan.
"Amu, your bathing suit is so cute!"  Yaya complimented.  The boys nodded in agreement.
"Thank you," I said.
"Rima's here!"  Nagihiko said cheerfully.  Rima looked at us blankly, and Kusukusu let out a cheer, floating over to the chara pool.
"Hi!"  everyone greeted.
"Hello," she said in her typical quiet tone.  She wore an orange, yellow, red, and green polka-dotted one piece bathing suit, with her hair tied up into a bun.  She placed her bag on the table, warily making her way over to the pool.  "Give me that float," she demanded to Nagihiko, pointing to the lime green tube with white ruffles made out of the same material the tube itself was made out of.
"Sure thing, Queen," Nagihiko smirked to himself, pushing the tube towards her.  She blushed at the way he said Queen.  "Why can't you just come in?"
"The water might be too cold," she made up.  I glared at her, and she caught it distinctively, but ignored it.  Rima sat on the tube, floating there.  "Push me along, peasant" she commanded Nagihiko.
"Yes, your Highness."  They laughed.
"Hey, Ikuto, where's your sis?"  Kukai asked.  They've just started going out about two or three months ago, and he was already head over heels for her.
"She has to record a song today," he answered.
Kukai seemed a bit let down.  "Okay, thanks."
"Hey, everyone!"  Yaya said, flailing her arms around.  "We should play a game of Marco Polo!"
"Sounds good," Nagihiko agreed.  "Right Rima?"
"R-Right," she said with a slightly worried expression on her face.  She tried covering it up the best way possible, but to no avail.  Nagihiko, with a smirk still written upon his face, playfully was about to tip over the tube.  "S-Stop it!"
"Well, you have to get out if you want to play, y'know."  Kukai and Yaya let out a laugh.
"I-I will, just s-stop," Rima stuttered.  I was surprised she was.  Carefully, she removed herself into the lukewarm water.  "There…"
"Alright, now that Rima's in the water," Yaya smiled at her, one of her devious yet funny smiles, "Who's gunna be Marco -- NOT IT!"
The group said not it in unison, except one person said it a bit too slowly.  "Crap," Ikuto muttered.
"Ikuto's it!"  I said, laughing loudly.
"Alright, now spin around ten times," Yaya said.  He did, and we were all spread out.
"Marco," he said.
"Polo," we all responded.  Ikuto moved around a bit, his arms held out, eyes closed.
"Marco," he repeated.
"Polo," we said, except for Yaya.
"Pastries," she replied, with a small laugh.  I tried to hold in my laughter.
"Marco."
"Polo."  He inched closer to me.  I swam to my right, then to my left, trying to lose him.  It didn't work.
"Marco."
"Polo."  This time, though, I didn't respond.  I was near the pool's wall.  Tadase swam towards me, reaching out to grab my hand.  I reached back, but Ikuto's hand slammed against the rim of the pool.
"Marco," he breathed on top of my head.
"Polo," they all yelled, Tadase's more louder.  I still didn't respond.  Ikuto's hand slowly reached towards me.  I couldn't move, no matter how hard I tried to.  His hand rested on my breast, causing me to let out a yelp.
"You're it," he said, his deep blue eyes staring into mine.  His hand still remained in the same position.
"G-Get your h-h-hand off!"  My face was completely flushed.  It felt so awkward, especially since all the Guardians were there.
"Aww, you're no fun," he whispered into my ear, slowly taking his hand away.  Tadase, finally realizing where he had touched me, slapped his hand back.
"You perverted cat!"  Tadase said.  "Come here!"
With that, they jumped and ran out of the pool, chasing after each other.  The others laughed, except for Rima and I.  Rima slowly made her way over to me.
"Are you okay?"  She said, pointing to my chest.  My hand cupped over my breast.
"I'm just fine, it felt awkward, that's all."  I stared at her.  "You just swam over to me!"
"I did?"  Her eyes widened, and it finally dawned on her.  "I really did!"
